William Blackman is a senior consultant at Interel’s London office. He joined the company in August 2016 and works with clients in sectors ranging from financial services to tourism. He has particular experience in supporting a number of multinational technology businesses and associations on their policy and political engagement strategies, including Expedia, Alibaba and BSA – The Software Alliance.
William has five years of experience in political and consultancy settings. Prior to joining Interel, he spent three years working at the House of Commons for a Conservative Member of Parliament. In that role, he provided political and policy research and led on all external communications, including the MP’s engagement with businesses, charities, and other third-party stakeholders. Before that, William worked for an academic and then for a civil liberties pressure group.
William holds a first class degree in Politics from Goldsmiths, University of London. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and is a classically trained pianist.
