Sara Sorouri joined Interel in September 2019. She is Events Manager & Association coordinator for the Interel Association Management and Public Affairs health teams.
Sara has developed a strong focus on association events around the world including hybrid and virtual formats. In addition Sara is supporting associations in membership and business development.
Prior to joining Interel, Sara worked for several global organizations serving the security, medical, accounting and utilities industry. She has extensive experience in association event management, fundraising, sponsorship and membership sales. During her work experience she has developed a strong understanding of business processes and projects development on international level that includes a number of cross-function team members, counterparties and strict deadlines.
A part of her responsibilities was optimisation and detailed planning of conferences and events around the world, with all the aspects of successful implementation of the projects: employee recruitment, staff training, budgeting and financial control, vendors search, purchasing and contract negotiations, fundraising, sales and marketing activities of the associations on different geographical areas.
Sara Sorouri is graduated with master degree in Business Management from the HEC (Haute Ecole de Commerce) in Liège, Belgium and a teaching degree in French language.
Besides her native Arabic, Sara speaks fluent French & English and master the basics of Spanish, Flemish and Turkish.
