Sabrina joined Interel in January 2018 with professional experience in research, policy analysis and communications.
Prior, she worked as a policy advisor in foreign affairs at the European Parliament and as a policy and communication assistant at the European Cancer Organisation (ECCO). At ECCO, Sabrina supported the team work in a variety of projects, such as Recognising European cancer Nursing and Integration of Care, and she contributed to devising and implementing communication campaigns on key events and priority issues for members and partners, such as World No Tobacco Day, brain tumour and innovation in the area of health and biomedical research.
Sabrina has a multidisciplinary background. She obtained a master’s degree in International Relations from the Orientale University in Naples, Italy. During her Master programme, she conducted fieldwork on the development of Islamic finance in Paris, France. Prior to this, she studied at the London School of Journalism and she successfully completed a work placement in Istanbul, Turkey, as part of her Bachelor’s programme in Islamic studies. Last year, she was nominated as the Highest scoring Employability Points student at a University of Kent European Centre.
In addition to her native Italian, she speaks English and French, and has a good command of Spanish, Turkish and Arabic.
