EU Events Manager
Marios Skouras joined Interel in January 2014 as EU Events Manager. He works with the European Affairs team advising clients on how to effectively make their voice heard via events organisations. His portfolio includes a broad range of stakeholders across industry, science and academia.
In addition, Marios’ professional interdisciplinary background (he has worked for International Organizations, Government and Corporations) provides him with solid experience in dealing with policy-makers and their decision-making processes; a key asset when organising EU policy focused events.
Prior to joining Interel, Marios worked for the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union where he gained experience in the Foreign Affairs field. Moreover, having worked as a freelance consultant for Public Affairs firms, he followed closely other policy areas such as environment, trade and internal market.
Marios holds a M.A. in International Relations from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna (Austria) where he specialized in Diplomacy and International Affairs, and a B.A. in European Studies from the University of Essex (Great Britain). Marios is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Greek.
