Leah Reily brings to Interel over six years of experience in association management spanning membership, communications, conference and event planning, and administration. Her international background and organized approach to programs and tasks allows her to lend a unique and creative perspective to her leadership roles.
Leah holds a Master’s of Science in Conservation from University College London and an undergraduate degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Following her time in London, Leah moved back to Washington, DC and began interning at non-profits around the city. Applying her varied background and cultural experiences and her extreme commitment to organized and well planned program implementation, she quickly worked her way up from unpaid internships to key management roles. Most recently, prior to joining Interel, Leah served as the Membership and Communications Manager at the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER). During her time at SER, Leah managed 14 regional chapters across Asia, Australia, North America, and Europe, nine student associations and a 2,500 person membership. She successfully fostered significant retention, revenue and recruitment growth. In addition, Leah has previously provided consulting and support to newly forming and small non-profits in association management software selection and transitions.
Leah is dedicated to continued education and innovation both personally and within the organizations she serves. By fostering a positive and highly organized environment for both staff and volunteer leaders, Leah is focused on providing an energized and successful work environment.
Leah is a citizen of the United States, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. She and her husband, Dan, live in the Northern Virginia region.
