Deputy Managing Partner, France
Aristide Luneau is Deputy Managing Partner in Interel’s office in Paris, where he brings to his clients more than 18 years of experience in public affairs. He advises senior-level executives of French and international companies in their relationships with the French political sphere and with key decision-makers. To this end, he plans and initiates lobbying strategies for companies and professional associations in various sectors, such as retail, energy, finance, electronics, building materials, health, and industrial research. He specializes in opening new markets for his clients and securing appropriate tax measures. In addition, he initiates and manages coalitions, and responds in a creative way to both threats and opportunities.
Before joining Interel in 2005, Aristide worked as a political consultant, and prior to that, he served in the European Affairs Department of the French Insurance Federation. At the beginning of his career, he held various internships in ministerial cabinets and at the European Commission.
Aristide, who speaks fluent French and English, holds a degree from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po). Currently, he is treasurer and board member of the French Association of Lobbying and Public Affairs Consultants (AFCL-AP). He also teaches courses on lobbying at various universities, and is the author of Lobbying, Les coulisses de l’influence en démocratie (Lobbying, Behind the Scenes), which was published by Pearson in 2012.
