Stakeholder engagement during a bid process

Our client develops and manages transport infrastructure projects worldwide, including public-private partnerships. It entered into a tender procedure for the management of the regional airports held by the local public authorities in an EU member state. Interel was asked to assist and advise the company on public affairs and public relations throughout the tendering procedure.
How we helped: Interel organized an extensive one-to-one meeting schedule with all of the relevant stakeholders and key opinion leaders and provided content to support the process. We co-authored the bid documents and took part in the first offer and best and final offer negotiations. In addition we served as a single point of contact between the company and every local stakeholder in the region, including the media.
