Oliver Adrian joined Interel in 2015.
Oliver has a background in international relations and security studies. He previously served as a research assistant at the University of Georgia, USA. Prior to that, he interned for a risk consulting firm in the area of Big Data as well as for the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation in Prishtina, Kosovo, where he conducted political analyses. He also led a working group at the Heidelberg Institute for International Conflict Studies, monitoring and evaluating conflicts in sub-Saharan Africa and was engaged at the Heidelberg Forum of International Security.
Oliver holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Heidelberg. He also did a one-year graduate program at the School of International and Public Affairs at the University of Georgia, USA. Besides his work for Interel, Oliver is in charge of the internal and external relations of the youth organization of the German Council on Foreign Relations (Young DGAP). He is also program manager and a founding member of the Young Professionals Community of the German Association of Political Consultants (de’ge’pol). Besides his native German, he speaks English and French.
