An Vandenberghe began working at Interel in 1986.
Prior to this she worked in the insurance industry and distribution. An supported a wide range of clients in the areas of business-to-business and retail, in both corporate and marketing communications.
She also developed considerable expertise in coordinating events and managing pan-European projects. She was the head of project development and implementation for a series of seminars for prestigious clients under the Belgian EU Presidency. She also led the campaign for the reintroduction of British meat into European markets (after mad cow disease). She also managed the campaign on the image of BMW Mini.
An has worked for a number of clients in the food industry, such as the Meat and Livestock-Commission (England) and SQBLA (Scottish Quality Beef and Lamb Association).
Finally, An also significant experience of managing and executing PR activities in the travel industry with with a range of well-know European names.
An speaks fluent French and English as well as her native Dutch.
