Countering negative messages

Our client is an international smartphone manufacturer. The company faced a ban on the use of its technology in the French administration because of a suspected risk of espionage. The company was unknown to the Government and the armament industry. 

How we helped: We produced an analysis of the key organizations and individuals behind the negative messages about the company. We developed a network of contacts at professional, government and parliament levels and supplied them with material contradicting the negative information in circulation about the company. We also campaigned to raise the company’s profile, and position it as an expert, using opportunities provided by changes in French regulation. Today their technology is used in key ministries and the company has a strategy in place to maintain its influence in the sector.
