Interel runs and manages a global campaign week for Primary Immune Deficiency awareness. The campaign website was developed by Interel several years ago, and acts as a hub for the PI community.
How we helped: Our audience research indicated that we needed to show more of the personal face of the disease. In response, we created the Storybook app, to tell the stories of people whose lives have been affected by PI. The book was a place for members of the PI community to share their joys and challenges, and to feel they were not alone. The PI Community embraced the storybook, and it’s become the most successful element of the WPIW campaign. Shared around the world, it has been very successful in raising awareness and bringing new visitors to the site.
